Editing a Workflow - Condition, Actions and 'Applies To'
To ‘Edit’ this process click on the edit button in line with the name of the workflow and your computer screen should look like Figure -3- below.

While editing this process you have option of changing the ‘Condition’, the ‘Resulting Actions(s)’ and to some extent the ‘Applies To’.
The options for ‘Applies To:’ are:
- When updating a record
- When a new record enters the system
- Both updating and entering records
- When assigning records
- When someone opens an email sent from LeadMaster
- When someone clicks on a link in an email sent from LeadMaster
- When adding a new opportunity
- When updating an opportunity
- Both updating an existing opportunity and adding a new opportunity
Once a workflow has been created the options for ‘Applies To:’ are grouped into 4 categories:
1) If the original conditions were one of the following:
- When updating a record
- When a new record enters the system
- Both updating and entering records
Then the options are:
- When updating a record
- When a new record enters the system
- Both updating and entering records
2) If the original condition was:
- When assigning records
Then the option is:
- When assigning records
3) If the original conditions were one of the following:
- When someone opens an email sent from LeadMaster
- When someone clicks on a link in an email sent from LeadMaster
Then the options are:
- When someone opens an email sent from LeadMaster
- When someone clicks on a link in an email sent from LeadMaster
4) If the original conditions were one of the following:
- When adding a new opportunity
- When updating an opportunity
- Both updating an existing opportunity and adding a new opportunity
Then the options are:
- When adding a new opportunity
- When updating an opportunity
- Both updating an existing opportunity and adding a new opportunity
